History

Terra was a street-orphan left from the Dark Days war. Upon the conclusion of the war, Ten's wealthy rebel assassins called The Circle recruited orphans and trained them to become the next wave of assassins in a planned Ten uprising. The Circle was formed of four families: the Stroms, the Copperheads, the Cottonmouths and the Montagues. Terra was placed with the Montagues and nicknamed Terror.

From her recruitment to the 5th Games she was educated and trained, forced to fight - and sometimes kill - other Montague orphans as well as the orphans from the other Circle families. Terra was considered the best of the best in the Montague house, and was often sent out on missions to kill off the remaining rogue Peacekeepers by the Circle.

5th Hunger Games

Whilst in the cells, Terra communicated with Lachlan Renwick via guerilla whistle communication known in District Ten. She had learned this during her training with the Circle.

Terra lost her hearing during the games' experiments with cannon-fire upon death. A canon was fired next to her onboard The Abyssal, and the impact ruptured her eardrums. Ironically, the explosion was caused by her killing of Winger O'Malley.

Trivia

  • Diagnosed with noise-induced hearing loss shortly after her games and never recovered.
  • Even as Capitol technology improved and the chance of restoring part of her hearing was possible, at that point Terra declined the surgery.
  • Was the only tribute on The Abyssal to kill another tribute.
  • The only tribute(s) aboard The Abyssal she did not outright kill was Monty Quinn, who succumbed to the muttation bird attacks, and Lachlan Renwick, who lost his balance and fell over the edge of the ship as they fought. He subsequently drowned, and Terra was historically credited with the kill.
