Bette Sublino was a tribute in the 80th Hunger Games, reaped in the District One Female place. An antiques conservator-restorer and black market weapons armorer, she used her observational skills, craftsmanship, and self defense training to place second in the California-themed games, "killed" by Anatalia Morrisen in the the Finale.
Revived and aged out of the Reaping due to the 80th Quell twist, Bette is back in District 1, the long-term always in sight.

- Bette and Yusei (as well as a drunk Justice Fray) spend a night on the train, studying past quells in an effort to understand what they are up against
- Bette manufactures an orb-like weapon for the D3 Heist twins, Auto and Larceny, in exchange for a "favor". This favor has yet to be returned.
- Bette spends a night sharing chips with 6F Quest Hertz, listening to music and hearing her rant about every other tribute in the games
