HGRPG as a community has several slang terms and words unique to the website. Many of these terms are common across RP sites and forums, however some are exclusive to the culture of HGRPG. This page shall serve as a glossary.
Writing Terms
- ooc = out of character
- ic = in character
- au = alternate universe
- NPC = non-playable character(s)
- canon = the works of a particular author or artist (either Suzanne Collin's 'canon' book characters such as Caesar Flickerman or HGRPG lore canon)
- lore = site history
HGRPG Lore-Specific
- Ripred = The rat-king from Suzanne Collins' other book series. Ripred serves as a replacement title for God in site lore (eg. 'Oh Ripred')
Slack Terms
- hell-kim = An emote of Kim Kardashian crying, with hellfire behind her. Signifies an expression of great emotion, usually dread, regret or upset.
- hellmo = An emote of Elmo with hellfire behind him. Signifies an expression of great emotion or vigour, usually excitement or nervousness.
