Juliet Monaghan
Juliet Monaghan was the female tribute from District 12 in the 84th Hunger Games. She was notable for her several different alliances, including solo-ing for two days, and befriending the mega-mutt Hei Hei.

History
Juliet Monaghan was born in the year of the 68th Hunger Games. She was a fraternal twin and had seven siblings: Elliot, Noah, James (her twin), Justin, Bailey, Saoirse, and Sidonie. The Monaghans were one of the wealthiest families in Twelve, operating a smuggling scheme and selling contra-banded items under the guise of a regular corner store. Jules ran the shop and its smuggling services, a task inherited from her mother, and also worked at a local bar where she developed a dependency on alcohol to calm her nerves and paranoia.
84th Hunger Games
Pre-Games
Juliet volunteered for her older sister Noah Monaghan who was reaped for the 84th Games. Noah was on the spectrum - undiagnosed due to Twelve's limited medical services - and as Juliet had spent her entire life protecting her siblings she knew that Noah would be slaughtered on sight.
The Bloodbath
At the sound of the gong Jules immediately ran from the Bloodbath, although tempted by knives, knowing she would rather live that risk dying in the massacre.
Early Games
Ran into Sophie, found Beck and Silas, doesn't trust any of these hoes. Got bitten by a snake, paralysed from the waist down, fought Nevermore. Silas spared her, begged them to leave her. Fought the croc, almost died on 39 HP, killed the thing, dragged herself out of the desert. Met Hei-Hei, talked to him, Walter arrived in the night. Chased down by Nevermore, Walter stabbed Phi in the chest, escaped. Chased down by Noel and Laurent again.
Etc etc.
Death
Juliet was taunted and tortured by Noel Hailsham, who cut off her leg, drowned her repeatedly in the river, then cut off her arm as she tried to fight back. Laurent Crest, having had enough of Noel's sadistic tendencies, stabbed Jules in the stomach with his javelin - poetically, the same attack she had first landed on him on Day Two. She bled out in the river and died on Day 6.
Trivia
- Juliet's nickname was 'Jules'
- In the 'in-between', a fictional afterlife for Zoe's tributes, she brought the moon.
