Early Life
Haff was not an only child, he grew up in a house always filled with noise and laughter. Haff struggled to fit into a family such as his. Unable to properly understand anything that was going on around him and always, always left out he eventually took up the roll of cleaning and caring for the horses. Not once did Haff complain, he loved waking up in the morning before everyone in the house, feeling the morning due on his skin and always watching as the sun rose above the plains of his home. He would feed each and everyone of the horses, a boy known to be forgetful and often confused never once did he forget a horses name or which horse liked what food the most/ he prided himself on how well he could care for them. He never was given the opportunity to ride a horse and the whole idea of climbing on one of those massive, beautiful beasts back was a daunting one to him. Haff liked to believe that he knew the horses better then anyone else in his family and it is a belief that is greatly shared by his family. He rarely spent time with them ,preferring the solitude of being out doors where on one could tease him or pick on him for being slow or smelling bad.
When he was young he he meet the best horse of his life. A young foul, he named Amira was born. She was born in a bad state, too small and thin, too malnourished. The other in the house believed the foul would die over-night. Haff however felt a connection to the young horse. Many of his family had felt the same way about him as he grew up, as though he was not one of them, undeserving to live. Determined he took the young foul and from hand he feed her and raised her. After the first day it looked as though she would not die and this pleased Haff greatly. the other people in his family, for once did nothing to intrude on the special bond that had immediately been created between the two. Instead they left Haff to care for Amira and for once allowed him to have a horse of his own.
