Storm was born into a large family. He was an innocent boy, and he enjoyed reading books. Many times he'd sit on the porch reading. His world changed, though, when his cousin, Jabber Jay, was reaped in the 64th games. He developed a lot of hatred as he watched the tributes jump him in the bloodbath and toss him around like a rag doll. Storm even got a in a fight with his younger brother, Red, which caused them not to talk for a long time. Storm slammed the door in his blind brother's face because of all the anger and hatred flowing through him. Storm would watch his brother Mick perform some stupid stunts. Storm was terrified he break his neck, but he did that several times. The next games the quell was announced and Storm feared he would be reaped with his twin sister. He spent as much time with her as he could because he wanted to mend their broken relationship. When he was heading to the reaping, he promised Mist everything would be okay, but his world was turned upside down when he was reaped. While he was saying goodbye to his family, he apologized to Red for fighting. He promised he'd tell him a story because that's all Red wanted. Storm promised his family he would fight for them, and maybe he'd be able to return. He was whisked away from his family and placed on the train.
65th Hunger Games
Training Center
In the training center, Storm spent a lot of time moping around. He was terrified of being in front of the other tributes because he knew they all wanted him dead. One day he was looking at all the plants when Jim McCoy walked over. Storm started talking to Jim and they became brothers. Storm promised he'd be brothers with Jim for life no matter what happened because he didn't want to fight him. Storm also was laughed at by Beatrice. She told him he needed to suck it up because other's were there who lost a family member in the games, but they weren't moping around about it. Storm also met Siana Felies. They talked about family and had a bitter sweet moment. He promised Siana he wouldn't attack her during the games as long as it was preventable. Storm also talked to Mantel. He wasn't sure what he thought of him, but Storm didn't want to kill him because everyone was his age. During the private training, Storm nearly wet himself in front of the gamemakers. He stabbed the dummy in the eye which caused him to spew vomit all over the place. He ran out of the training center sobbing because he knew inside that he was dead. He received a two which didn't surprise him because he wasn't a fighter. All he knew as the stories he read back home. During the interviews he started feeling a bit confident because he wanted to prove to the people of Panem that he was more than the two he received in training.
Bloodbath
Storm ran into the bloodbath knowing he'd need weapons and other items in order to survive the games. He fought along side Jim McCoy and Sticky Washington against the rest of the tributes. He ended up with seven items from the cornucopia before he decided it was best to high tail it out of there. Many people wasn't left inside, and he didn't want to become their next target. He didn't want to end up like Jabber.
After the bloodbath
Storm ran into the hedge maze surrounding the cornucopia. It was a large maze, and he was stuck trying to find his allies as he ran through. He ran up and saw someone in the distance. He charged with his halberd held tight in his hands and attacked without looking. Out of nowhere others joined and started attacking as well. Storm looked upon the girl who collapsed to the ground lifeless and saw Siana. He broke his promise to her and guilt filled him. One of the guys with her attacked Storm, and he retaliated. He was angry at himself for helping kill Siana, and he was striking to kill the guy when he severed his ear clean off his body. Then he ran for his life away from the fight again. He ran into a dead end and he found a music box. Stupidly he opened the lid and the sound coming out was so loud and ear piercing that it temporarily made him deaf. He was afraid as he continued searching through the maze because he wanted to find where Sticky and Jim ran off to. Storm was excited when he ran into them. He stared at the sky for hours watching and finally the faces appeared. Storm's heart shattered when he saw the face of his district partner in the sky because she didn't belong there since she volunteered for the games.
Day Two
Beatrice Birch joined them sometime, and Storm wasn't sure what to think of her. Storm started having feelings towards Jim, but he was too afraid to speak them. He wandered with his allies through the maze, and they came out in front of a giant beanstalk. It was amazing, at least in Storm's eyes, because he had read about it. Two mutts appeared before them, and part of Storm was thankful that he didn't have to fight other human beings. He kept attacking one of the mutts, and Storm ended up with the kill on one of the mutts. He wanted to taunt it in front of the gamemakers, but he decided against it and kept his celebration in his head. He helped the others fight the other mutt, and once it was dead, Storm carried Sticky out of the fight as a giant egg fell on his head giving him a concussion. After they all fled the fight, they went in front of the giant beanstalk, and Beatrice challenged him to climbing it. Storm told Mick, one of his older brothers, that he was doing this for him. He climbed the beanstalk, but it turned out to be a trap. Beatrice took his bag, and removed the duct tape out of it. She duct tape his hands behind his back and marked all over his face with lipstick giving him a new name, Stormika. Storm didn't like it very well, and he finally grew a backbone and told Beatrice to leave him alone. He asked Jim for help, but Jim told him to not talk to Beatrice like that. Storm felt betrayed, and hurt that his bro would do something like that, but he knew the feelings inside him were a lie. Bea yelled at him before untying him from the beanstalk. They left the beanstalk and headed out into the arena to prepare for the next day. Storm didn't sleep very well at all that night.
Day Three
On day three, they ran into other tributes. Storm was terrified as he swung at the girl from twelve. He watched as Jim and Beatrice fought Mantel. He kept attacking Lucy for an unknown reason. Mantel died during the fight, and his cannon sounded. Lucy Peverell attacked Storm completely severing his arm from his body making him look just like Jabber, except it was the opposite arm. He was happy that Jim was fighting with him because Jim told them to leave Storm alone, but it wasn't enough. They kept attacking trying to kill him, but Storm was trying to kill them as well. When Storm fled the fight, someone sponsored him a medical kit and he was able to heal himself some. He didn't bother going near his allies for a while because he didn't want to be near them. He rested in the mountain after drinking water. He found some skis in the mountain, and part of him wanted to go skiing, but he didn't think it was a good idea. That night he begged Jim to not let him die by the enemy.
Day Four
Lucy Challenged Storm by telling him he was going to die by his own hand. Storm attacked her because he hated her. He wanted nothing to do with her, and he wanted her dead. Saffron started breaking his bones one by one. He was in pain, but he refused to cry. He was fighting for his family, and he needed to be strong for them. Storm told Lucy he wanted to sever her head off her body, but instead severed her foot. Everything was going well until Jim's district partner severed the head off Beatrice. Storm was distraught and he wanted to kill every last one of them. He wanted them to die, and he was happy when Jim killed her. Storm felt like he jinxed the fight, and guilt was inside him. He didn't care if he lived or died at this point because his hero was laying on the ground headless. That's when Lucy attacked him ending his life forever.
Death
Storm drug himself across the ground over to his hero so he could die beside her. Every memory of his life flashed before his eyes as he laid bleeding out on the ground. Sticky told him he was going to be with the fairies. Storm apologized over and over to Siana for betraying her because she didn't deserve it. Storm watched as they all ran away. Jim got Storm's arm back and placed it beside him before putting his hand behind his head to help him up. Storm fell onto his shoulder because he didn't have the strength to hold himself up. Jim apologized for not getting him back home to his family. "Remember what I said bro. If you don't have a family to fight for, fight for mine." Storm reminded Jim. Storm kept his promise to Red and told him the story he should have told him long ago. Jim and Sticky had a funeral for Storm and Beatrice. They kicked dirt around them and set a fire so that it would be hard for the hovercraft to get to them. "And the all lived happily ever after." The last words Storm said before his cannon sounded. Storm went to be with the fairies where he'd rest forever.
