History

Samira Hart was born in the year of the 56th Hunger Games. She had two younger sisters named Poppy and Paisley. A tomboy, Samira was a problematic child - constantly acting out, running away from home and generally being a brat. Her father abandoned his daughters after Samira's mother turned reckless and unpredictable, suffering from personality disorders. Due to this, Samira was treated poorly by her mother whom idolised her other two daughters. She suffered emotional, mental and often physical abuse from her mother, and spent most of her childhood taking care of her younger sisters - hiding their mother's alcohol addiction for as long as she could. Street smart and desperate to be rid of her tormenting mother, at age 15 Samira left her childhood home and spent her years couch-surfing and living with friends and strangers until her reaping day. Samira would often sneak back into the home she grew up in to visit her sisters and make sure they were okay. To pass the time she would party, taking unknown substances and partying until dawn. Samira believed she had brushed death many times in her life. Despite this, she still persisted on and lived. This idea carried her through to her final moments in the arena, putting up an impossible fight against her ally turned murderer Pillar Fray.
