Early Life

Yaron was born the third child of seven in District Eight. Growing up, she didn't receive much attention from her busy parents, which didn't bother her greatly. Her belief in God was as strong as her siblings and she relied on his love. As she grew, her relationship with her parents began to crumble. She tried to change herself - to act less snarky, follow the rules, continue her devotion to her faith and refrain from promiscuousness. Finally, she fought with her family in a blazing row and decided to find herself without the help of God or her parents. She lived this way until she was reaped, happier than ever.

Reaping

On the morning of the reaping, Yaron noted that reaping day was one of two days in the year that made her feel as though she belonged to a family. Likening it to Christmas, but without such a religious aspect, she got ready. Her siblings Shrol Raidan and Tabil Raidan were also eligible for the reaping, however most were not. She watched Tabil praying from across the District Square before her name was called. Her previously composed and calm appearance faltered, and her mouth dropped open in shock. Yaron looked at her family and then stepped up to take her place.

The second name called was that of Shrol Raidan, her brother. Tabil shouted 'No' and Yaron's eyes were drawn to him in the crowd, giving meaning to the previous announcement. As her little brother climbed the stage, Yaron prayed - the words apparently having no meaning and yet the motion comforting for her.

"Well, then. The odds have shown us the middle finger, so I guess it's time to get this party started, huh?" - Yaron to Shrol.

Interview

Yaron displayed her snarky personality during her interview with Caesar Flickerman. When asked what she thought of her training score, she interrupted the famous television personality, insisting that nobody cared and they should instead talk about something interesting. The conversation turned to her girlfriend, Cosa, who Yaron said her parents do not approve of. When questioned, the girl went into detail about her relationship with her family. She told the audience that she loved them, but would rather not live with them. When finally asked what she wanted to say to her family, friends and fellow tributes, Yaron responded lengthily.

'"Thank you, Caesar! This interview never would have happened without you." But as her eyes shifted to the cameras, the smile changed in tone, shifting from something happy and fun to something nostalgic and sad. All too aware of the time ticking down, she opened her mouth, took a deep breath, and began talking at breakneck speed. "Mom, Dad, I'm sorry for being such a pain in the ass. Naam, do me a favour and don't kill anyone I like while I'm gone." A ripple of laughter went through the audience. Good. She had hoped they would take that as a joke. "Rivik, Natan, as the youngest, it's your duty to be the obnoxious ones if I don't come back, so do me proud! Dor, I really appreciate everything you do for all of us. Tabil, don't let anything that happens here change you. Shrol-" she looked from the cameras to the waiting area, where her brother's stylist was probably hovering for last-second fixes- "whatever happens in there, I love you. That goes for all of you, no matter what I've said. I don't have a damn clue why, because I hate you all sometimes, but I love you so fucking much. And Cosa," she added as a hint of the carefree coquette slipped back into her smile, "keep having fun for me."' - Wolftears

60th Hunger Games

Day One

Before entering the arena, Yaron preyed. Without stopping to find her brother or form a plan, feeling as though she had no time, Yaron ran into the fray. Seepie Dillox attacked immediately. Wading through the sand, Yaron swore at Seepie, before bending down to kiss her attacker's forehead and say 'Bless you'. Feeling the effects of adrenaline, the tribute dove back into the fight, attacking Avon Lightwood and managing to break her shin. Blythe Godwin-Seavers was the next to attack Yaron, however he missed his target. For a while, Yaron and Surge battled, but he fled before he could inflict much damage on the girl. At this point, both Yaron and Shrol turned on Blythe, as they found each other. Yaron was delighted that he had found her.

Blythe missed twice more, while Shrol landed two deep hits upon his sister's attacker. Quickly afterward, he left the Bloodbath. Yaron claimed the wealth.

Day Two

Yaron moved to the Falling Sand on the second day, using her towel for as many things she can think of and taping her torch to her arm.

Day Three

On the third day, Yaron moved to the marsh. She spent this day alone also. She was glad to be walking in the loud, wet marshland - she figured that any attackers heading toward her would be easily heard and unable to surprise her. She watched the light, fascinated and terrified by it. She was incredibly thirsty at this point, and decided to use the marsh to rehydrate herself despite it's disgusting appearance. Hating the taste of the water, she looked in her supplies and found a sandwich. Eating and drinking, she refuelled. The simple meal reminded her of the foods she had eaten back at home rather than the rich Capitol foods.

Day Four

In the Coniferous Forest on the fourth day, Yaron battled a macromantuar. At first, she was not afraid of it, greeting it in a friendly mannor. It attacked her swiftly, which Yaron managed to block, swearing. She threw herself to the left, rolled with her weapon and retaliated, slicing off the ear of the creature. She didn't manage to move fast enough the second time, however, and it broke her right foot. She continued attacking back without giving up, and the creature ceased it's attacking.

Day Five

Finally, Yaron and Shrol managed to meet up again in the Prairie. They battled scorpion mites, incredibly glad to see each other once again. Despite Yaron's injuries, they fought well and managed to destroy the attacking hoard enough to convince it to retreat. It was Julian Bryze, the future Victor of the Games, who stepped in at the last minute, killing Yaron with a blow to her ear. The attack was apparently due to her District, a reason which she rejected as valid, saying that she wasn't her District. Nonetheless, she told her brother she was coming and faded away as he begged her to respond.
