Liliana Rhyson

Liliana Rhyson was a tribute in the 60th Hunger Games. She was notably known for battling Eliana, and both of them having the same name ending similarly.

Early Life

Liliana always wanted to be the best. Ever since a young age she has had her head bent down as she devoured her school books, desperately trying to prove to all her school friends that she was smart. She took it to heart the day that everyone told her she was stupid. She took it so badly in fact that it deeply affected her personality to the point that know she rarely even smiles, preferring to show to those around her a serious, put together girl. At a young age she began what she liked to call'daydreaming' however they were not the kind of simplistic dreams that one associated with normal. They were far too realistic and soon they became a great part of her every day life. They began to take control and at some points her dreams were more reality. Living with her aunty made it hard to keep her problem a secret, but she did, she worked hard and gave her strict, upper class aunty no reason to doubt her. She knew that if she ever spoke of her dreams her aunty would call her crazy and that was not something she wanted to hear.

Bloodbath

Liliana entered the bloodbath very early. As w=one of the first people to ump in she was there at the crucial point of Lightning Vox's murder. At first it appeared as though Liliana would not do a thing as it seemed to take quite a while for her to react to that chaos around her. Then finally! Lilian seemed to realise that this was the Hunger Games and she jumped forwards striking out unarmed at Lightning Vox. After her initial attack she was then faced with the fearsome Julian Bryze as he leapt at her attacking her with his already blood-stained glaive. She retaliated by attacking him with her axe, but was soon overwhelmed as everyone turned on her. Realising she could not live very long if she stayed under this onslaught she grabbed the few things she had managed to reach before turning and fleeing, leaving the chaos and her attackers behind.

Early Games

During the early stages of the games Liliana did little more then wonder around the arena. She mostly stuck to herself and found no other tributes to face. In this time she recounted many life events, and felt a great deal sorry for herself. She also managed to use her first aid skills to heal the wounds she had gathered from the bloodbath. Later on she also stripped naked and rolled around in the sand screaming that she was not worthy. She then put her clothes back on and continued on in the desert sands.

Late Games

Finally some action. Liliana was finally faced with an opponent. Thrown against the young Eliana Ledessa they fought bitterly. Both, however, were content on sending each other to death with tiny cuts and misses. In this time Liliana came to the decision that she would fight and she would fight till the end to survive. This did not turn out too well for her. After a painstakingly long battle Liliana was finally killed with a shallow cut on her back.

Death

Lilian from the beginning had it in her head that she was going to die. She knew it and even though she had been determined to fight she knew that this fight would be her end. In her death she talked about how her Aunt would be happy she was dead. How the woman that had raised her would put on a show for the public, but would truly be glad that the child she hated so much was finally dead. She then goes onto relive the sorry life she had, saying that she had never had friends and that even though she would die the world would go on and she would be forever forgotten, to never be remembered again. By the end Liliana is crying, begging for the daydreams that had tormented her to lull her into a peaceful sleep, but by the end all she can do is suck in painful breaths as death takes over.
