Early Life
Shanks's father wanted to be a doctor but was forced to be a fisher, so he always dreamed of escaping to the medical district. His mother was known for her great cooking skills. Shanks was an only child, so he compensated for it by making friends all around the district. He tried career training at some point but quit because he didn't like it. He was quite popular around his district and liked by many people. Despite the thread of the Hunger Games, he preferred not to think about them and make the most of his life.
