A career is someone who lives within the confines of either District One, District Two or District Four. However, not only must you live within one of these three districts you must also undertake challenging and strenuous physical training from a very young age. Most Careers beginning training by the age of eight. In this training they undertake they learn to wield a range of weapons, they're taught to kill and survive. Essentially a career is raised to win the games, they have the upper-hand if they are reaped and are generally favoured over other district tributes.
In terms of HGRPG's Games mechanics, Careers are allowed to exempt one combat training station, in addition to their potential non-combat exemption. They must be noted as a career in their bio.
Panem Olympics
The Panem Olympics are a set of events, ranging from archery to rowing, to boxing and wrestling that occur in District Four. Only the career district can compete in these events, those being competitors from district one, two and four. There they compete for a placing to get a bronze, silver or gold medal to bring their district glory.
