Piper Lacour
Piper Lacour (born Piper Freeman) was the female tribute from District Twelve in the 4th Hunger Games. She was known for being a Dark Days war refugee from District Thirteen.

History
Piper Lacour was born Piper Freeman in District Thirteen in the year 5 BDD. Her father worked in District Thirteen's Justice Building. Upon hearing the news that the Capitol were planning to bomb District Thirteen as part of a retaliation against Thirteen's plans to nuke the Capitol, the Freeman's escaped the District on a cargo train and arrived in Twelve shortly after Thirteen had been 'destroyed'.
Piper was renamed Piper Lacour and became a refugee in Twelve, officially a citizen when the war ended and the district boundaries were erected. Piper spent most of her childhood in Twelve actively educating classmates about Thirteen and her happy life there before the war, much to the disdain and fear of her parents. She was reaped at 16 years old for the 4th Hunger Games.

In the arena cells, Piper kept to herself as the uprising began. Only when Keepers began to attack Nieve Villanova did she speak out in disgust. The Keepers retaliated and broke her hand.
