History
I don't actually remember why his family was out of the picture, but I'm pretty sure they died. Got engaged really young, fiancée Aisha died in the 53rd Hunger Games, Ayane was born in the Arena, it was a whole thing and no fun for anyone.
57th Hunger Games
He was in these.
Bloodbath and Day One
Got a crowbar. Ran off solo because he had none trust for anyone.
Day Two
Runs into a couple of Pitfall Lizards and Katie Morven; decides that even if he doesn't trust any other tributes, they still beat mutts, so helps Katie get her switchblade working and takes them out with her. Katie runs off, because they're both still terrified and distrustful of each other, which, like, fair.
Day Two
Runs into Katie again, but also Storm Wie and Heron Kimberling; cautiously teams up with Katie again, dies anyway. (Which, when I looked it up, made me doubt that he was really tenth place, but no, old Games were just Like That with the early deaths, dang.) Bonds awkwardly with Katie for a little while before wandering off to die, alone and delirious from blood loss.
