Mackenzie Pryce was born in the year of the 62nd Hunger Games to a single mother. He has a fraternal twin named Maxine Pryce. As children the twins inherited the nicknames Mickey and Max. Mackenzie's father was the District Seven mayor (Term 75th - 80th) and was completely absent from the twin's lives. Mackenzie and his sister spent much of their childhood outdoors.
