Early Life

Biography

Theseus' parents never really wanted to have a child - and his mother was worse than his father, treating him like a slave in the house. All Theseus ever wanted was for his parents to acknowledge him as their own flesh and blood. After sixteen years of severe punishments, and being obstructed even from learning to read, Theseus decided to run away. He worked cleaning the streets for a while, always staying away from his house, and after almost a year he was taken in by the Tempus Opera House, which he now considers his home.

Reaping and Training

Disrict Six Reaping

Theseus denied that it was his name that was called at the Reaping. He had always been the boy who hid in the shadows, and suddenly he was thrust into the spotlight. He was almost certain he wouldn't be coming back.

Theseus meet Demeter

During training, Theseus had an anxious encounter with Career Demeter Merwin-Glory, who looked down on Theseus and threatened him. Theseus, although scared, stood his ground, however was unsure if this made him respectable, or a target.

Theseus' Private Training Session

Theseus had extremely low expectations for himself in his Private Training Session, knowing that the Gamemakers probably wouldn't even remember him. Instead of performing any skills, Theseus simply talked to the Gamemakers, reassuring himself at the same time. In a fit of panic, remember where he was, Theseus then turned and ran. For this unimpressive display, he was awarded a 2 - the lowest score of all the tributes.

Theseus' interview

Theseus was totally zoned out in his interview, not even hearing most of the questions that Caesar asked him. He brushed off his low score, and any talk of his family (which he considered the Opera House to hold, not the house of his childhood). However, he did admit his attraction to a flame of his foster brother - another employee at the Opera House. This seemed to soften the Capitolites to his cause, and Theseus left his interview feeling calmer, but more homesick too.

Theseus talks with Naveen

Theseus and his district partner Naveen Casovnik missed home intensely, even though neither of them had particularly good experiences in District Six. They met on the last evening in the Training Centre to comfort each other, forming a deep bond. This bond made the tributes decide to ally, along with two other tributes - Guy Montago and Mason Krearns. Their alliance was called TCCSHOTA.

Bloodbath

Theseus enters The Bloodbath

Theseus desperately wanted to survive because of his newfound care and affection for Naveen. He found her straight after the gong rang off and stood with her as they fought for supplies. Right in front of him, the Career alliance The Argonauts ran his ally Mason Krearns down, and then they turned their attacks on him, with Kiera Dempsey leading the charge. After a few attacks, the Careers turned away, but after Theseus lashed out at Kiera in retaliation, she turned back to him. With rage and impossible strength, Kiera swung her xiphos at Theseus, and it drove straight through his neck, sending him to the ground.

Death

Theseus' death

Naveen stayed with Theseus until she was sure he was gone. In his dying moments, he told Naveen how sorry he was for letting her down, and before his vision went black he saw several playwrights addressing him back in the Opera House, beckoning him forwards to join the show.
