Early Life

Hannah O'Leary was born the year of the 54th Hunger Games. In her life before she became a tribute, she went through many phases in order to fit in and eventually found herself "at the bottom of a shot glass." (Or so she thought.)

Family

Hannah was one of six children. Her eldest brother, Colgate O'Leary, is the Victor of the 66th Hunger Games. She has three other brothers, Scope, Crest and Marvis "Marbles", as well as a sister, Katerina. Hannah had very close relations to each of her family members, and even wrote them all a letter before she died.

Romance

Several months before the 71st Reaping, she attended a party one night as she usually did, and met the epic love of her life, Abraxas Morrigan. She spilled her drink on his shoes while navigating through the crowd. Hannah had thought the meeting to be pure chance and randomness and that on the night of their first encounter, the odds had been in her favor for once in her life.

When Hannah was Reaped for the 71st Games, Abraxas visited her in the Justice Building, where he gave her a locket as her token. He had been saving as a gift for making it past the Reaping, but decided to give it to her as a goodbye instead. Inside was a photo of Hannah and Abraxas, which he had cut out of the school yearbook. Abraxas and Hannah later had sex (cute <33) in the Justice Building and said their final goodbyes.

Reaping

Years before the 71st Reaping, Hannah had countless nightmares of being Reaped for the Games. When she stood in the District Square with her name echoing through the air, she felt as if she were about to collapse: her nightmare was unfolding before her. She had feared that the Capitol wanted her or one of her siblings Reaped due to her brother's victory, and her fear came true. Hannah truly believed that the Reaping had been rigged, that there were no odds to be in her favor that day. She said nothing, made no sudden movements, as she slowly walked towards the stage to take her place as District Nine's female tribute, though words were screaming through her mind.

In the Justice Building, she said goodbye to Colgate and Cordelia, first, followed by Abraxas Morrigan and the rest of her family. Colgate broke into tears before her, and the three of them were soon crying together. It was there that Colgate gave her a bottle of bubbles, which she added to her necklace from Abraxas. She had given Colgate the bubble bottle shortly before the Reaping, as he had abandoned his old nickname. It was a reminder of who he was, and that he would always be Dishrag to her.

Hannah was then visited by Katerina, her sister, to say her last goodbyes. WIP
