History
Rowan was born in the year of the 53rd Games. Her mother died a few weeks after she was born, and her father was an unknown stranger (rumoured to be a Wanderer) whom she never met. Raised by her Grandmother in a cottage nestled in the woods of District Seven, Rowan grew up an only child who spent her days in the outdoors. Often seen walking around the district bare-footed in the mornings, she kept to herself for most of her life and developed a dominant traits of compassion and curiosity whilst respecting her grandmother's old-fashioned and often sharp ways. In her teenage years Rowan began to suffer from night terrors and insomnia, terrified of the night and falling asleep. She began to develop a friendship with Gavin Barker after she accidentally mistook him for a werewolf and knocked him unconscious with a frying pan, which then developed into something more shortly before his reaping in the 67th Games.
