Trace Rowgan

Trace Rowgan was a tribute in the 56th Hunger Games. He was most notably known for dating Sundra and getting arrested on their first date.

Early Life

Trace lived a normal life, he greatly loved to spend his time with animals rather then people. He would often treat them with a great amount of more respect then he did to his family and friends. Trace was the son that got the most attention, he was the favourite of his parents. Ryder was liked less so and that was even included on the homestead. When he is working Trace enjoy's breaking horses the most. He can spend a great deal of time acquainting himself with the horse before breaking it. He had a big passion for riding horses and was very skilled with his ability track down wild herds and find out where they were. He took great pride in his ability to do so. By the age of sixteen he had gained such great knowledge and experience with caring for animals that he opened his own homestead. Early on in his life, just before he was reaped Trace meet Sundra Wie. The two got along well and on their first date Trace was arrested.

Pregames

In the training center Trace meet young Ocean Jones. He was instantly smitten by the beautiful girl. After spending a small amount of time talking with her he barely left her side and they soon became allies. Trace spent his entire time in the training center within her company. Eventually their alliance grew to four people strong, with Luyu Nimmons and Joshua Rowan.

Bloodbath

Trace jumps right into the thick of the battling. In the beginning he spends his sixty seconds before the gong thinking over how he has almost died twice in his life, before the games. After thinking upon past memories he realises that as soon as that gong goes he needs to run, to find his allies and, most importantly to find Ocean. He likes Ocean a lot and he goes back to think of how it felt when she looked at him and how his whole being felt like he was floating. Then as the gong rings out he runs. Trace runs straight away, he lands his first attack on Agatha Mirell, following as the rest of his alliance does the exact same. After that he gets his hands on a hammer. Again he dives in, attacking Agatha, before grabbing a back pack. After that he seems to finally get the hang of his hammer and watching as Agatha flees he turns on another tribute and breaks Anthony Peterson's jaw. Trace then attacks again, but misses, but he know has a jacket and an empty water jug. Now Trace is faced with tributes turning on Ocean and attacking the girl that he had fallen for. Screaming he lunges at them, trying to save her and wanting to kill them all. Then Ocean flees, Trace sprints after her, clutching the few items he had escaped with.

Day One

After fleeing from the chaos of the bloodbath Trace runs away with Ocean, chasing after her and not wanting to let her out of his sight. Trace wants to comfort Ocean, hold her and protect her. He cares greatly for the girl, and Ocean in return does not appear to give a crap about him. But he persists with his idea of love, knowing that if he could protect her and help her that would be enough. Trace drinks some water as Ocean speak, then he kisses her, leaning forwards and gently pressing his lips against hers. To him this is amazing and perfect, it feels perfect to him. As he pulls back he just stares, looking into Ocean's eyes. Ocean jerks away and starts screaming and before Trace knows what is happening she hits him, her whip slicing deeply into his arm. Trace shocked and depressed goes to leave, but Ocean seemingly completely annoyed again attacks him, slicing his skin and spilling more of his blood. A bloody battle insures as people that had once trusted each other dive at each other, desperate to kill the person that they had once cared for. By the end Ocean kills Trace, and she does not seem to even regret it for a moment.
