Early Life
Colon was born into a family with a father, mother and two sisters before he caused a terrible accent which took the lives of one parent and both siblings. In an attempt to scare the animals, he and some friends set alight torches and ran about the barn. It set alight, with his two young sisters inside. His mother entered the barn in order to save them and lost her own life, leaving Colan to live with his elderly father. Colan grew severely depressed after the incident.
Reaping
Before leaving for the Reaping, Colan said goodbye to his animals. He promised to let them out of the barn when he returned, something he would never do. The girl called first was an unfamiliar name to him, and made him think of his sisters. When his name was called, the words took a moment to process. He was anxious and afraid, however vocally accepted his place twice over, as though reassuring himself of his capabilities.
Interview
During his interview, Colan corrected Caesar Flickerman when he got his age wrong. In reference to his training score, he told crowds he was 'pretty confident' He was unable to give an answer on his favourite thing about the Capitol and stated that he had nobody special back home. Once the fire was mentioned, after Mr. Flickerman asked about his family, Colan only shook his head in response to questions and left when the timer sounded.
The Fifty-eighth Hunger Games
Day One
Stuttering his thoughts and attempting to formulate a plan in his mind, Colan left his plate. He ran quickly, but was attacked right away. Four damaging wounds were dealt, and he cleverly fled the Bloodbath before he could amass anymore wounds, without picking up a weapon.
On the same day, in the Shrubland, Colan joined Razor Creel in attacking Dustin Summerfield. Dustin flees quickly, and Saskia Hamilton arrives to attack Dustin's ally, Jaimie, with a shoe. Each member of the attacking party turned on Jaimie, who did not choose to flee. Colan no longer felt pity for the girl when she asked Razor to turn on their fellow tribute. Two mutts, Timon and Pumbaa appear, attacking Razor and Jaimie. Jaimie kills herself and Colan moves on.
Day Two
In the Light Jungle, Colan fights Raphale with his recently acquired mace. He speaks to him, saying he forgives him for attacking him considering the complicated circumstance. They banter playfully in a somewhat format style, introducing themselves. The fight stretched on, with Colan continually using Raphale's thrown knives against him. Colan finally dies as his attacker delivers a deep gash. It is only after the final blow is dealt that Aénor Kembry arrived and finished off Raphale. Colan apologised to his father at the time of his death for taking everybody he loved from him. He then experiences flashbacks before the cannon sounds.
