Early Life

Sebastian was raised in an orphanage, not knowing what happened to his mother or father. He grew up alongside three boys and six girls who he feels are like true family to him. Sometimes, the other children suggested running away from the orphanage, but the boy was always afraid of what might happen to his friends if they did. The place was strict, and the children were not allowed out of bed in the night. When fetching a glass of water at the age of six, Sebastian heard footsteps and hid so as to avoid trouble. They were the footsteps of two children and Peacekeepers. The children were being punished for engaging in a relationship. He listened the boy lunge at the guard, who shot him down dead immediately. The girl cried his name, and Sebastian heard the horror in her voice. Once they left, he returned to bed.

In the morning, the bloodstains were gone, and both the girl and the boy had disappeared altogether. At fourteen, Sebastian was using the machinery at his work-place when he lost some of his fingers. He dreamed of meeting a girl and having a family of his own.

Reaping

Despite his dislike of the outside, Seb was forced to attend the reaping. He attended, being told to face the front by a stern voice as he searched the crowd for his friend. When the name of the female tribute was called, Sebastian looked down at his shoes, disgusted that he was pleased she was going to die instead of anybody he knew. When his name was called, his hands dropped to his sides in shock.

His friend Lila insisted that there had to be a mistake, telling Sebastian that he can't go, or leave her. In the end, she tells him to stay safe and allows him to leave. He then promises her he will home come, meaning every word.

"That was quite the display." - Sebastian to the cameras.

Interview

In his interview, Sebastien attempts to pull off the cocky personality, winking at the camera and speaking as though people should already know who he is. He says that a training score of six isn't 'fabulous', but insists he must have done something right in order to pull a higher score than many other tributes. When asked about the Capitol, he compliments the people, calling them beautiful and waving at the audience. He tells of Thalia, his 'special girl back home', and repeats that he is going to win the Games. Oozing confidence, he describes how he helps out the community and helps younger children, before telling the story of his growing up in an orphanage.

"Thalia mostly. I also miss the smells, laundry soap, the old sewing machines, the leathers, fresh bread." -Seb, when asked what he misses most about home.

Finally, he delivers a message to his friends at home and fellow tributes, essentially implying for the final time that he will be the Victor to return home.

The Fifty-Eighth Hunger Games

Day One

After his platform rose, Sebastian began to panic. He couldn't spot his ally anywhere, and the arena appeared to him to be a wasteland. He lost count of time, setting his eyes on the switchblade he wanted. Attempting to reassure himself, he thought about how he was one of the elder tributes, at seventeen years of age, and how he wasn't the smallest of those. Comfortable with the idea of killing the boys, but, upon looking at Anya Crider, hoping he wouldn't have to kill a girl, he entered the Bloodbath.

First, he lashed out angrily at Gage Cooper, causing him a black eye. He managed to collect the switchblade he had been aiming for. Two attacks landed on him before Gage Cooper stabbed him in the eye, thus ending his life.

No death post was posted.
