Kay has been a member of The Hunger Games RPG since May of 2011. She was promoted to staff in August 2011. She is best known for winning the 59th Games with Mace Emberstatt. As of April 2013, she has been promoted to Head Librarian.

History
Kay has been one of the most active members of HGRPG since joining. She is currently ranked as the 5th Top Poster on the site. Like many others, she discovered THGRPG via a Google search.
Early Days
Though Kay joined in May of 2011, she wasn't truly an active member of the site until June. In the interim she closed out two RPGs, one Pernese and one Harry Potter, before returning to THGRPG. She used her favorite character templates to create her first three characters: Maverick Miles, a Capitolite famewhore, Genesis Alder, an apprentice gunsmith in District Three, and Mace Emberstatt, a foul-mouthed rancher in District Ten. After mercilessly PMing people to RP with her, Kay finally settled in.
Staff Promotion
After spending the summer observing the Games and the functioning of the site, Kay applied to become staff. In August 2011 she was accepted as a Librarian.

Staff Initiatives
During her time as staff, Kay has spearheaded a number of events on the site. She start the Post-a-Thon, which occurs before each Games and encourages people to post in order to earn sponsorship money. It was originally developed to get non-tribute writers more interested in the Games. After running the first few PATs, Kay handed over leadership to other staff members. In December 2012 she started the first site Secret Santa. Members gifted icon sets, playlists, plots and more to each other.
