Early Life
Fledger was an only child, growing up was hard on him, faced with the early death of his father his mother suffered greatly. She became a lot more detached and the young Fledger Rell's was forced to face life by himself. He grew alone and raised himself and taught himself everything he knew. Thinking that his mother was simply in shock after loosing his father he dismissed the few things his mother did. She had become very forgetful and would often neglect to do many things. However after a number of years the problem grew bigger and bigger until one day she did not even recognise her own son. With a mother incapable of doing anything Fledger was forced to get a job, he needed money and his family needed food. Eventually he took up a job, using the skills of his district to fish and catch food. At times when he did not have enough money he stole, and the few times he was caught he was whipped for his crimes. But he persisted, knowing that to live he had to eat and that meant he had to work.

Bloodbath
Fledger enters the bloodbath with thoughts of his love at home, River. Breathing deeply he tries to catch her scent, but of course he gets nothing. He opens his eyes to his new home, and for a moment he is confused by the lack of world. There is but only blood red sand around him. But without hesitating he leaps off of his metal plate and runs towards the Cornucopia as the gong rings out in the wastelands. As he enters the chaos all he can think is that he is not a man that attacks other people, but as ever thoughts of his beloved River spur him on as he knows he must fight for her and live for he will. His lashes out unarmed his first attack landing on Julian Bryze.Knowing that one attack will not be enough Fledger keeps going, his new weapon sharp and better then his bare hands. Willing himself to fight he lashes out at Baylee Spencer, Fledger, himself has not yet been attacked. Then Fledger attacks once more and this time his Fauchard takes a life and his first kill is Baylee Spencer. After killing Baylee,Fledger continues, this time aiming for another victim, Dominic Rosenfield, his first hit misses, but his next one strikes home, opening up a deep wound. Knowing that more would have to die in these games he kept relentlessly attacking Dominic. As Dominic falls under anothers hand, Fledger, covered in blood and craving death turns on another tribute, severing his leg from his body. Finally Avon Lightwood finally notices Fledger and turns on him, her first move cutting off his arm from the elbow. This appears to be too much for Fledger as he turns and flees, leaving the bloodbath behind.
Day Two
After running all night Fledger collapses in the red sands that surround him. Two day shows of little interest to him as he is faced with no new opponents and basically rests. In this time Fledger reflects on his life and at how much Theron had treated him and River as basically an outsider. Fledger, facing the situation he is in now finally understands why he had felt that way. He'd then gone onto think about how he had fallen in love and how that had not been the real him who had, but the fake him. By the end he stands up and starts to walk, wanting vengeance for loosing his arm and wanting blood and to kill so that he could one day go home and see the people he loved and missed.
Day Three
Day three comes around and Fledger is forced to finally move and is faced with a Whip-Horned Buffalo. The mighty beast is in the sinking sand and before Fledger knows what is happening he has fallen into it as well. And he is loosing the few things he has to the sand that is sucking him into the ground. He struggles against it, trying to pull himself up, that is when he attacks the beast. The Buffalo is angered by this attack and lashes out in return, opening up a deep wound on Fledger's face. Now panicking Fledger desperately tries to pull himself out of the sink sand, but as a reward for his useless attempts another one of his items slips by, sinking into the sandy depths before he can even react. With the buffalo still there he attacks it and cuts it with a his blade, opening up a very deep gash. The buffalo retaliates by stomping on poor Fledger, bruising the struggling boy. Fledger still desperately trying to get himself out of the sinking sand misses his next attack, his struggling makes his Fauchard slip from his grasp and before he can grab it again it has fallen into the sand, where he will never see it again. However, luckily Fledger receives a knife and he is able to once more attack the buffalo and try to force it back as he continues to try to get out of the sand that has so well got him stuck. Blood-soaked and missing almost all of his items Fledger finally finishes off the Buffalo and it takes a few more minutes of a desperate struggle to get himself out of the quick sand. Without hesitating he runs away.
Day Four
Day Four again saw Fledger with time to himself. He was not forced to face another opponent and instead was forced to walk towards a distant tower as the pain in his cheek and his need for food and water drove him on.
Day Five
Fledger is forced to face his next opponent without a weapon having lost it in the sicking sand. However, from first look is next opponent looks not very threatening, nothing more then a simple fish. But the Swallowfish is a lot more vicious then it looks. Fledger's initial attack does little more then cause a bruise, whereas the fish jumps straight at him, opening up a fresh, new painful wound. Fledger tries once more to attack without a weapon, but can't seem to grab the fish and only bruises it, whereas the fish seems to be having no problems and once more cuts Fledger open. This goes on again, with Fledger desperately trying to get a good hit in the slipper bugger. After the Swallowfish misses, Fledger hist at him again, he gets another bruise in, but the Swallowfish is having none o this and stabs him in the chest. Somehow Fledger manages to fend of the fishes next attack and he in turn grabs the fish throwing it to the ground. Finally after what seems forever Fledger gets another hit in and the fish falls to the floor dead.
Day Six
Day six is hard on Fledger, with so many wounds and no weapons when he comes open the fearsome Kiara Mason he has no way of attacking her. The young girl relentlessly stabs at him and within the spawn of a few seconds Fledger is dead. And as he lay there dying he called out River's name.
