Early Life
When Damion was seven years old, his sister of seventeen, Remie, was Reaped for the Games. Before this point, Damion had been hopeful and oblivious to the pains of life, however afterwards he could never be as positive or peaceful as he was. Damion rejected any mental development and instead worked on improving himself physically, so if he was ever Reaped he wouldn't perish like his sister did. Although he did enjoy taking care of livestock on the District's farms, Damion preferred the killing part of the farm process. The thrill of the kill, for him, drove his desire to be a tribute himself.
Before the Games
Damion attends the Produce Fair Damion meets Urgorn
Damion tried to avoid interaction with other people as much as possible before he was Reaped. During the District 10 Produce Fair, Damioon kept to himself and simply watched the proceedings, ignoring the fact that the other kids he knew from school were making a point of avoiding him. However, when Damion met Urgorn Moedig during a heavy thunderstorm, what started as a hostile interaction between the two began to bear some positivity. The two exchanged names, and Urgorn even recommended Damion where best to hunt - although Damion had threatened him with his hatchet to get that information.

Reaping and Training
Damion and his District partner, Lydie Mansonna, were reaped without any disruption from volunteers. For Damion, his own name being called in the Reaping was what he had been waiting for since he was twelve years old, and he couldn't believe the day had finally come.
On the train to the Capitol, the District Ten mentor Mace Emberstatt met with Damion and Lydie to introduce himself and share some advice. Damion disgusted Lydie with his almost maniacal and savage cutting of the food in front of him, but it made her understand how vicious Damion might be in the arena.
Damion proposed the idea of an alliance to his would-be allies, Riker Mills, Phyllis Roman and Lydie Mansonna, in the Training Centre after seeing how quickly other alliances were forming. Lydie then suggested that, in order to get sponsors, the four ought to pretend to be in two couples - Lydie with Damion (having forgotten how unnerved she was by how he behaved during their dinner with Mace) and Phyllis with Riker. Damion agreed, but being only fifteen suggested that he and Lydie should play a "sweet" relationship, while Riker and Phyllis added a more adult twist. Damion and Lydie held hands with each other in public for the remainder of their time in the Training Centre. Their alliance was named Morbid Sitcom.
Damion's Private Training Session
Damion used a mixture of stealth and brute force to impress the Gamemakers in his Private Training Session. He first camouflaged himself to his surroundings, before charging at a dummy and cleanly beheading it with his axe. For his efforts, the Gamemakers awarded him an 8.
Damion knew that, in order to impress the Capitolites to gain sponsors, he would have to feign being a more charming person than he actually was in his interview with Caesar. The experience troubled him, as he started to doubt whether he was still the "monster" he had been in District Ten, before he was Reaped.
After his interview, Damion met one last time with Lydie, his District partner and, now, fake lover too, walking to her room to check that she was alright before the difficult day to come. Damion knew it would be the last time either of them saw the other safe.
Bloodbath
Damion let his rage and determination drive him through the preparations before the Bloodbath. He noticed how all the other tributes seemed much mroe nervous than he felt - he allowed himself to remain calm as he stood on the podium. As the gong rang, Damion once again thought of himself as the monster he always had been, knowing that that self-view would see him through the killings he would have to commit.
Although Damion immediately saw Riker sprinting off his podium, he didn't catch sight of either Lydie or Phyllis at first. Damion's first attack narrowly missed Ellea Banks as she turned and fled, and then he and Riker teamed up to target Aria Wolfe, who by this point was receiving blows from several of the other tributes, too. By some miracle, still no one had attacked Damion, and he had already collected a few important items without a single scratch on him. Riker, however, was not so lucky, and was the victim of attacks from the members of NDNTRA. Coming to his aid and attacking Alaska Putley made Damion a target, and Alaska lodged one of her throwing knives deep in his chest without a second thought. Alaska and Damion were now caught in a one-on-one battle as the other members of her alliance still targeted Riker, but they both knew they couldn't hold out much longer without other tributes coming to attack them. Within a few more attacks either way, the two, along with Alaska's alliance and Riker, decided to flee the Bloodbath.
Day 1
Lydie and Phyllis caughtt up with Riker and Damion after they fled the Bloodbath, and the four ran into Aria again, decding to attack her. However, Ellea Banks quickly came to her defence, and was soon joined by Ailis Copper, Kiera Dempsey, Wednesdae Drummond, and Demeter Merwin-Glory. Aria and these new tributes ganged up on Lydie, hoping that if they could kill one member of the alliance then the rest would flee. Lydie perished under their blows, and the other members of Morbid Sitcom did indeed flee.
Day 2
The impact of Lydie's death on Damion was to eradicate the shred of gentleness that she had begun to bring out of him. The remaining three members of Morbid Sitcom knew they couldn't dwell on their lost ally for too long - and this was proved to them when on the morning of Day 2 they were suddenly ambushed by a huge Cerberus-esque muttation. Damion landed the first blow, lodging his Dory into the dog's leg. However, the dog retaliated, biting Damion's forearm and wounding him heavily. After one failed attempt, Riker finally managed to kill the dog, and the alliance fled the area in case any more muttations should follow.
Day 3
On Day 3, Naveen Casovnik joined the alliance in the place of Lydie. Damion was at first extremely aggressive to Naveen, asserting himself as the leader of the group. Nevertheless, he and his allies allowed Naveen to rest with them and refill their water.
Day 3 brought another set of muttations to Damion's alliance, namely three Stymphalian birds. Damion was no match for the first bird that swooped down on him, biting a large chunk out of his arm as he only managed to scrape its body with his spear. The fight was over quickly, however, because as soon as one bird fell, the other two scattered, giving Damion and his allies a change to turn and run.
Day 4
During the night between days 3 and 4, Damion and his alliance were plagued with horrifying nightmares, which still stayed with them when they woke. Every member of the alliance blindly tried to fight off the spectres from their nightmares, not knowing that while they fought the monsters, they too were fighting each other. Damion's nightmares consisted of his dead sister telling him horror stories over and over again, before turning into a wolf-like monster with sharp teeth and lunging for him. Without knowing it, most of the allies' attacks landed on Phyllis Roman, who was so unaware of herself that she couldn't even defend from them. Damion, blind with rage and fear, landed the final blow, and Phyllis was killed, at which point the fog finally lifted and the living members of Morbid Sitcom realised what they'd done.
Day 5 and Death
Riker and Damion, having been left by Naveen the previous night, returned to the River Styx, where they encountered "power alliance" The Argonauts, freshly lacking member Kiera Dempsey who had fallen victim to the same Morpheus nightmares that Damion's own alliance had on the pervious day. The two alliances quickly engaged in battle, with the Argonauts being the first to strike, targeting Riker. Riker, Damion and Naveen in turn decided to attack Aria, hoping that their joint efforts might fell one tribute as they wouldn't be able to manage all three. However, The Argonauts were too strong for the two remaining members of Morbid Sitcom, killing Riker. Before Damion had a chance to flee, The Argonauts turned on him. Wednesdae severed Damion's foot, making it impossible for him to get away, at which point Damion knew his end was close. Aria was Damion's actual killer. As his blood ran out of the wound on the back of his head, Damion once again saw Remie reading to him - except this time she was as angelic as she had been in real life, rather than the apparition Damion had seen the day before.
